PEOPLE POWER PEOPLE - Ninoy's Legacy

Youth Alliance Phils together with other youth organizations receiving distinction as a People Power People organization on the occasion of Ninoy Aquino's 21st Death Anniversary last 21 August at the residence of Dona Aurora Cojuangco in Forbes Park.

IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE

i am amazed.

it has been a year since we started a network of young volunteers and youth organizations and this saturday we will be given recognition by no less than Her Excellency Former President Cory Aquino as a People Power People organization. armed with nothing but great hopes for a better philippines, we managed to provide a youth-centric voter involvement class and to dialogue with young people from all over the country. we learned that we were not alone in wanting to make a difference and in not giving up to cynicism and hopelessness.

if there is one thing i learned, it is that there is still hope.
